OLYMPIA – Port of Olympia’s free, family-friendly Summer Nights at the Port event series kicks off Saturday, July 23. It will feature the sounds of THE LITTLE LIES: A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac, food vendors, a beer garden, and the film, Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Take part in commencing the Port's Centennial Celebration with dessert.
Nicole’s Bar will present The 21+ beer garden with all proceeds supporting the 4 the Love Foundation. Food vendors Carbon Pop, Sweetlee’s Ice Cream, Dancing Goats Coffee, K-Komida, and Diversity in Business Scholarship Program, will be onsite with food and beverages available for purchase. The beer garden and food vendors will be open from 5 p.m. until 30 minutes before the night’s movie begins.
Delight in the sounds of THE LITTLE LIES: A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Thirty minutes after sunset get your popcorn ready and settle in to watch the Ghostbusters: Afterlife (PG-13). The movie starts at 9:15 p.m.
Admission is free and no RSVP is required. Bring your own chairs and blankets and dress warmly, despite the summer sun, as temperatures drop noticeably at dusk. The family-friendly evenings will take place next to the Swantown Marina Boat Launch Parking Lot located at the Port’s NorthPoint (next to Anthony’s Hearthfire Grill and KGY radio station).
Arriving by boat? Consider mooring on Swantown Marina's guest dock for the night. Reservations can be made by calling Swantown Marina at 360-528-8049.
