Many of us have had practice or training when it comes to deciding the best methods in dealing with an emergency. Far too often when those fight-or-flight situations arise, it’s difficult for us to recall everything we need to know. Luckily, there are written procedures with maps and guides on how to effectively address emergency situations, assuming they have been prepared and reviewed in advance at your office/event location.

Come join us this Wednesday at 6pm for a Scout exclusive seminar with the Coach of the Hartford Athletics. Coach Radhi Jaïdi will talk to our Scouts via zoom. Please sign up to be part of the Zoom interview where live questions can be asked. This is an unique opportunity to chat to an inspirational person who has done a lot of cool things in his life. Including playing for his country in the World Cup and playing professional soccer all over the world. Well, here's your chance!

Its not just for scouts anymore we even have a race for all you cooped-up adults

This race is Open to all Pinewood Derby racers not just the top 3!

Here's the only catch! You'll have to watch it online!

Drop your car off at designated locations and you are good to go!

We will be broadcasting the entire race on Saturday, June 27th, starting at 8:30 AM

Council Operations

Dear Connecticut Rivers Council Scouting Families & Volunteers:

Council: The Connecticut Rivers Council is responding to concerns related to Coronavirus (COVID-19). We are following recommendations of both national and state Departments of Health, and local Healthcare officials, and we are doing our part in trying to limit the spread of the virus. Effective Monday, June 1st, 2020, we are postponing or cancelling all Council and District in-person activities and meetings through June. In addition, overnight camping at our Council owned properties will not be permitted and are closed until further notice. We will be granting refunds for Council/District events and camp reservations affected.
