COVID Accommodations Continue into Spring 2021

A federal SEVP (Student and Exchange Visitor Programs) representative has reported to multiple reputable organizations that they will continue existing COVID-19 Enrollment Accommodations through Spring 2021. This means that most F-1 visa students may continue to enroll in all online classes in Spring 2021. Exceptions to the 100% online accommodation include students who arrive to the U.S. in F-1 visa status for Spring 2021 and potentially also students who were not enrolled in the U.S. on or before March 9, 2020. For new Spring 2021 students, the New International Student Seminar will fulfill the in-person requirement. For students who were new to F-1 visa support after March 9, 2020, please notify CIE if you are having difficulty finding at least one course with some in-person components. As always, we will provide additional updates as we receive further information or clarification.

Congratulations Graduates!

has been made aware of a spoofing scam involving individuals using the SEVP Response Center (SRC) phone numbers (703-603-3400 and 800-892-4829) and claiming to be SRC representatives. The fraudulent callers are inquiring about Form I-94 documents and asking students to provide information regarding monetary transactions.

    · NEVER divulge personal or financial information to unknown callers.

    · Report all suspicious calls to the HSI tip line and if you are unsure about the validity of a call from SEVP officials reach out to your designated SEVP field representative.
