Teaching Visual Art through Languages: Webinar recording available now
The recording of this webinar presented for MLTAV by Marta Munoz, an experienced CLIL practitioner is now available via the MLTAV website.
In this webinar Marta shared some of her most successful CLIL projects combining art and language. She also included language routines and games to engage students in learning the additional language.
Perfect for primary school Art and Languages teachers who would like to implement CLIL or would like to find more inspiring and engaging ways to teach languages.
CLIL emphasizes the importance of balancing both language and content in theory, but how does it play out in reality?!
Through teacher interviews grounded in actual classroom practice, the University of Melbourne has a new project to explore whether there is a tendency to emphasise either content and language more heavily in reality, and how this shapes different approaches to CLIL.
Ethics approval has been obtained for this project to be conducted in Victorian government schools (primary and secondary). Participation is voluntary and if you would like to be involved consent from your principal would be required.
If you would like to find out more about this project, please contact the research team asap via Prof Russell Cross, firstname.lastname@example.org
