Should you go mobile-first?

Depending on who you’re building for, you may want to make mobile-optimised adjustments. Think about whether they’re likely to use or come across your page whilst working at their computer, or on the go on their mobile.

On mobile, focus on the main content.
On mobile, consider hiding less important elements such as large illustrations.
On mobile, make it easy for users to take action.
On desktop, create more of an experience upgrade (better imagery, more whitespace).

Sometimes we overthink things, and that stops us doing good work. Design sometimes needs us to just try things and fail, instead of hoping to ‘think’ them perfect at the first attempt.
