1st Rockford Walk for Life

Saturday, January 23rd at 10 am will be the 1st Rockford Walk for Life coordinated by the Rockford Family Initiative. Please join others as we unite in prayer and walk for an end to abortion. For more information and to register, please email rockfordfamily@comcast.net

Blanket and Winter Coat Collection.

Immanuel North, in partnership with Empower Boone, is holding a blanket and winter outwear drive during the month of January. NEW or gently used adult or children's coats, scarves, gloves, mittens and hats will be collected along with blankets. Donations should be placed in plastic garbage bags and put in the collection bins located at the Main Campus or Immanuel North before weekend services. Please DO NOT leave donations outside the church doors. Thrivent Financial Action Teams have been applied for to help with this project.

Comfort Dog Calendar

The 2021 “Best of Kye & Bekah” Comfort Dog calendars are available for purchase. Order your calendar either online or pick-up an order form at the Connection Center. You will be called to make arrangements to get your calendar. We will not be selling calendars at the door or in the church office. Please get your orders in soon – quantities are limited.

Mini-Worship Services - Every Wed. at 11 am

There is one Mini-worship service each week on Wednesday at 11:00am that will be reserved for those in the “high risk” category or those uncomfortable being with larger groups at this time.

Putting an estate plan together is a somewhat complex task.

There are multiple documents you may need. Yet the most significant part of that estate plan is the gift plan you create, giving gifts to family you love and the ministries you care about. Entitlement would dictate that gifts to family, Godchildren or friends all need to be equal. Grace would indicate that God has provided gifts to you to meet needs in people’s lives, whether family or ministry. It is not boiler plate. You need to pray through a plan. Caring & Sharing – Stewardship in Difficult Financial Times

The Scriptures teach us to be First Fruits Percentage Givers.  That means we give according to what God has given us and we make those gifts a priority in our life.  This kind of Scriptural giving works when things are going well, and it works when things are not going well. 

If you are struggling financially then your percentage gift will automatically go down – no guilt, no shame, and no questions asked.  If that’s the case, we should be asking you, “How can we help.”  That’s the way it is supposed to work. 

However, if you have had no change in your current income, then we simply ask you to be faithful in your percentage giving.  God loves a cheerful giver and so we want to make it easy for you to give.  You, of course, can mail your offering to the church office, but we strongly encourage you to set up Electronic Giving through our website by clicking the link below.  Thank you for helping us Connect People to Christ for Life!
