Teaching Series

This fall we will cover the whole Bible in 10 episodes in a series called The Story of Hope. Together we will explore the over-arching narrative of Scripture, God's redemptive plan that unfolds from Genesis to Revelation. If you're a new Christian (or exploring Christianity), this teaching series would be a great start for you. If you're a seasoned Christian, you'll gain a deeper sense of how all of Scripture fits together. We hope you'll join us Sunday at 11:00!

Cruise Event October 10th!

We have rented a beautiful house boat, The Pelican, for 3 hours to cruise Lake Wylie.

Unfortunately, and we are very sorry, there is no ramp at the dock. There are steep steps and a long walk to the end of the dock. Therefore, do not consider this event if you have limited mobility.

If you paid and signed up previously, please confirm your reservation with Faye.

The cost is $25 per person. Meet us at Freedom Boat Club Lake Wylie at 10:30 a.m. Please arrive no later than 10:45, as the boat will be leaving the dock at 11 o’clock sharp. The address to meet is 16310 York Rd. Charlotte, NC 28278.

Finger sandwiches and hors d'oeuvres will be provided for you to enjoy. Bring your own beverages. We will have bottled water available.

The Onesies group from Community Church has invited you to attend the movie, Miracles from Heaven: A Little Girl, Her Journey to Heaven, and Her Amazing Story of Healing.

FOOD ASSISTANCE FOR THE BLESSING BOX

Clover Area Assistance Center (CAAC) prevailed on CCLW to install a mini pantry (Blessing Box) in 2023. The canned goods left in the box are intended for the local homeless as well as families who need help stretching their food supply. The Blessing Box is on the parking lot side of our church (follow the signs from Highway 49).

We need your help. In order to keep this pantry filled with appropriate foodstuffs, we ask that you buy a few extra cans of food (see the separate list) when you are grocery shopping each week. Simply place them directly in the Blessing Box or bring them inside the church. A member of the Missions Committee will do the rest.
