Perfectly Provence Travel Lifestyle Magazine

The Journées du Patrimoine normally takes place this weekend throughout France. It's a chance to enjoy the chance to explore public buildings, private spaces and national history. The theme for the 37th edition is "Heritage and education: learning for life!" Here is the official link for these heritage events (https://journeesdupatrimoine.culture.gouv.fr/). However, in Aix and Marseille the program has been cancelled this year due to Covid-19.

In Provence, the daytime temperatures usually remain warm in September, but it can take several hours to reach the forecast highs. Dense fog often blankets the early mornings, and agricultural bonfires perfume the air. At this time of the year, evening materializes rapidly, and the sun's departing rays bath the region in a filtered pink glow—the painter's light.
