With a wreath of success, 2020 crowns us..

As we are about to bid farewell to 2020, we are also saying goodbye to one of the most important and delightful projects that we worked very hard throughout the year to accomplish.

On the 30th of November, Hakawy Festival Out of Cairo concluded its last activities after continuing for four months in seven different governorates.

The closing event took place at the French Institute in El-Mounira attended by the festival artists, partners and a number of media professionals and journalists, in addition to guests from the cultural scene.

This event comes after the completion of the festival’s fourth phase, which began in the middle of the past month with recorded video performances touring a number of the AUEED schools in Luxor, Sohag, Qena, Assiut and El-Minya.

Worth Mentioning that Hakawy Festival out of Cairo is a project funded by the European Union in Egypt, in cooperation with the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC).

Check our Facebook page to watch a brief live video and high quality photos of each show.
