Dear USET/USET SPF Family,
The Biden Administration recently announced that free COVID-19 tests will no longer be available to order through the COVIDTests.gov website after Friday, September 2nd. Due to insufficient funding provided by Congress, the Administration is currently unable to replenish the testing stockpile and continue delivering free at-home tests to those residing in the United States. Although there is an impending pause on the distribution of these tests if Congress allocates additional funds for the program, distribution of free at-home COVID-19 tests will resume. Because of limited availability, preserving the remaining tests has been prioritized to ensure testing concerns can still be addressed later in the year.
At this time, every home in the United States is eligible to receive free COVID-19 tests and can order a total of 3 rounds. Each round includes 8 tests, and packages are shipped for free. If you have not participated previously, all three rounds can be ordered at one time. The free testing program has managed to distribute more than 600 million tests since its launch. Furthermore, at-home tests have been a valuable tool in the COVID-19 pandemic, giving people a way to quickly identify COVID-19 infection and take precautions needed to mitigate the spread of the disease.
To place a new order for free COVID-19 at-home testing kits, please use the link or phone number below by Friday, September 2nd

As the program has been suspended, other options for free COVID-19 testing remain available. Individuals can utilize free testing services offered through private insurance, as well as Medicare and Medicaid. Additionally, 15,000 community-based testing sites across the country will continue to provide free access to COVID-19 testing. The USET TEC continues to closely monitor the COVID-19 response in an effort to issue timely and accurate information that can be used to best protect Tribal communities.
