Happy International Women's Day !

I can't tell you how excited I am that spring is just a few weeks away! After a long, stressful winter, I'm really eager to shift towards the "new beginnings" energy that comes with spring.

On the personal front, I'm thrilled to report that our roof is FINALLY repaired (woohoo!).

On the writer front, I'm gearing up for fun trips to two writer's conferences:

• AWP in Portland, OR, where I'll be selling (I have just a few copies left) & signing copies of Words or Water at the Finishing Line Press Table (Thursday 3/28 @ 11:00 - 11:30am & Friday 3/29 @ 3:00 - 3:30pm)

• The Muse & Marketplace (GrubStreet) in Boston, MA, where I'm leading a session: You Need a Website! A Practical Guide to the What, Why, and How of Building Your First Author Website

Here I am at AWP 2016. I was expecting: a book and a baby!

These conferences can be overwhelming, so it's always good to go into them with a game plan (and with snacks).
