Kelli-Leigh releases an inspiring pop ballad, entitled, “Be Alright”
Kelli-Leigh is a talented singer-songwriter from south London, England. Not too long ago, she released an inspiring pop ballad, entitled, “Be Alright,” which finds Kelli-Leigh encouraging listeners to stay optimistic while enduring the hardships that life may bring. The moving tune, written from a painfully honest place, promotes being kind to yourself and appreciating your good and bad experiences. During the difficult times, when you’re holding on with all that you have left, Kelli-Leigh suggests being kind to yourself as a recommended therapeutic action.
“I hope this song brings some healing to whoever hears it the way it did when I wrote it with producer Hoost. We put so much pressure on ourselves to be in a place of achievement, success, and validation usually coming from the outside world’s perception of who we should be. We spend so much time looking ahead that we don’t realize half the time what we have achieved through the things we’ve been through. 2020 wasn’t kind to any of us, and as we leave it behind and look for the light in 2021, be kind to yourself. Allow yourself to breathe and realize how special you are in this present moment. Take the time to tell yourself that ‘I’m gonna be alright.’” – Kelli-Leigh stated
“Be Alright” contains an inspiring narrative, ear-pleasing vocals, and tuneful melodies that will resonate well with fans of Becky Hill, Dua Lipa, Tori Kelly, Anne-Marie, Ariana Grande, and Jasmin Sullivan. Furthermore, “Be Alright” serves as an essential statement from an artist who has already been earmarked as an artist-to-watch for 2021.

Rook Monroe releases an attractive indie-pop tune, entitled, “Californialand”
Rook Monroe is a talented singer-songwriter. Not too long ago, he released an attractive indie-pop tune, entitled, “Californialand,” which tells a heartfelt tale about a young guy who spends some quality time at Hotel California, where dreams don’t die. While there, he gets some much-needed rest. However, he wakes up too soon after dreaming of a Nevada shotgun wedding.
“Every one of us has an idea of where we should go to find ourselves. Foregoing who we truly are, to keep the light on for whoever it is we’d prefer to become. We spend so much time wondering ‘what could be’ that ‘what is’ never feels good enough. ‘Californialand’ represents that dream. The good, the bad, and the in-between.” – Rook Monroe explained
‘Californialand’ sets the stage for the narrative arc of a rolling stone leaving a place he must leave in the past, to find a destination he can’t define. Also, the project finds Rook at an intersection of confidence and confusion, as much concerned with leaving lies behind as with heading towards one.

Taylor Tote releases a soulful indie-pop tune, entitled, “Quarter-Life Crisis”
Taylor Tote is a 25-year-old NYC-based singer-songwriter from Monmouth County, New Jersey. Not too long ago, she released a soulful indie-pop tune, entitled, “Quarter-Life Crisis,” which tells an intriguing tale about a woman who is trying her best to get on with her life. Apparently, she worries a lot and needs to put her priorities in order. While her bills are piling up, she’s spending her money buying drinks with her friends. Later, she admits that she wishes she was five-years-old, and in the same breath, wishes she had a five-year-old that she can call her own.
“‘Quarter-Life Crisis’ was inspired after being told I wasn’t an adult because I don’t ‘struggle enough,’ which is silly considering the year we’ve been through. I was actually really offended! I felt like my whole life I wasn’t taken seriously because of my age and now I’m at a point of being spilt. I’m either too young for something or too old and there seems to be no in between. I think ‘Quarter-Life Crisis’ can relate to anyone regardless of age. But I have a feeling those in their 20s and 30s will feel this a little bit harder. I hope this song can serve as an anthem for getting through these tough times while thriving through it!” – Taylor Tote explained
‘Quarter-Life Crisis’ serves as a wonderful presentation of what listeners can expect to hear from Taylor Tote in the near future. |
