To say it's been a hectic week is an understatement of epic proportions . . .

Whilst many of you have been tucking into your Thanksgiving fayre, we've been all hands on board, clearing the decks in preparation for the busiest period of our year. Half a dozen new titles hit Unit 1 in quick succession (see last week's newsletter for details), all of which have been mailed out. And, we had one very special delivery on Wednesday (more of which to come).

Now, it would be disingenuous of me to suggest that Mr & Mrs Crowther, last seen heading for the rain-soaked hills of the Yorkshire Dales was in any way a dereliction of duty. In truth, they've worked themselves to a standstill and have earned their break and can enjoy the relative tranquility of the Dales, take in the bracing freshness of the clean air, walks along the river, through woods and over the moors to the next picturesque pub for pies and pints, safe in the knowledge that the rest of PS elves—back at the warehouse—are all over it, working round the clock to get as many orders as possible out of the building.

And so to this week's arrival . . .

Finished copies of THE STAND hit Unit 1

As you can imagine, we're all extremely excited by the arrival of the component parts of our three-book extravaganza, THE STAND. It's a beauty. Weighing in at 3kg, it's also a bit of a beast and each set will have to be assembled and numbered before being wrapped for dispatch. So please be patient, we've already got the first batch through the door as you read this and will be doing our best to get your copies out as soon as we can.

IN STOCK NOW from Cemetery Dance: A brand new Castle Rock novel by Richard Chizmar.

Gwendy's Magic Feather

Featuring a foreword by Stephen King discussing this first novel ever set in Castle Rock written by another author!

Full-color cover artwork by Ben Baldwin and interior artwork by Keith Minnion

About the Book:
Something evil has swept into the small western Maine town of Castle Rock on the heels of the latest winter storm. Sheriff Norris Ridgewick and his team are desperately searching for two missing girls, but time is running out to bring them home alive.

In Washington D.C., thirty-seven-year-old Gwendy Peterson couldn't be more different from the self-conscious teenaged girl who once spent a summer running up Castle Rock's Suicide Stairs. That same summer, she was entrusted—or some might say cursed—with the extraordinary button box by Richard Farris, the mysterious stranger in the black suit. The seductive and powerful box offered Gwendy small gifts in exchange for its care and feeding until Farris eventually returned, promising Gwendy she'd never see the box again.

One day, though, the button box shows up without warning—and without Richard Farris to explain why, or what she's supposed to do with it. The mysterious reappearance of the box, along with the troubling disappearances in Castle Rock, leads Gwendy home again...where she just might be able to help rescue the missing girls and stop a madman before he does something ghastly.

From New York Times bestseller Richard Chizmar comes Gwendy's Magic Feather, a breathtaking novel that asks whether our lives are controlled by fate or the choices we make—and what price we might have to pay for those choices when we reach for the things we most desire. Prepare to return again to Stephen King's Castle Rock, the sleepy little town built on a bedrock of deep, dark secrets, which is about to awaken from its quiet slumber once more.

We have 48 copies—in stock and ready to ship—all signed by Rich Chizmar for £20 plus P&P.

ANGEL FIRE EAST by Terry Brooks

Running with the Demon was recognized immediately upon publication as a masterpiece, a bold departure that promised to revitalize contemporary urban fantasy and showcase Terry Brooks's vast storytelling gifts as never before. The second book of the series, A Knight of the Word, raised expectations even higher. Now, in Angel Fire East, Terry Brooks brings his bestselling epic trilogy of good and evil to an unforgettable close.

As a Knight of the Word, John Ross has struggled against the tireless dark forces of the Void for twenty-five years. A rootless wanderer scarred as deeply by the magic he wields as by the unspeakable horrors he has witnessed in its service, Ross is driven by dreams that show the world reduced to blood and ashed by the Void and its minions. The grim future he dreams each night will come true unless he can stop them now, in the present. But for all his power, John Ross is only one man, while the demons he hunts—and which hunt him in turn—are legion.

This Deluxe Oversized Limited Edition of 698 signed and hand-numbered copies is bound in full-cloth, Smyth sewn, featuring a full-color signature sheet and cover art from Tomislav Tikulin. We have a handful of ciopies in stock and available for £45 plus P&P.
