An offshore supply vessel operating near the FPSO MIAMTE, approximately 5NM northeast of Sanchez Magallanes, Mexico, was boarded by four armed robbers. The assailants, who approached in a small fishing boat, were armed with pistols and stole crew belongings and vessel properties, including self-contained breathing apparatus.

The crew members are reported to be safe. Two other vessels in the vicinity have also reported sightings of the small craft involved in the incident.
