Many of the current leadership topics come either from news outlets or leadership coaches. So, if it's relevant to your audience and customers, considering writing more content to target this audience. 

As for the "best leadership blogs" keyword, check out the SERP. Posts are mainly from previous years and could be considered out of date.

• Employee perks

This keyword along with its synonyms tends to be quite competitive until you realize the SERP is outdated. A recent Forbes article shines a light on the recent change that employee benefits went through. 

This opens up new opportunities for looking at employee benefits and reward programs in a new way, especially as competition on the talent market is increasing due to the greater job accessibility that remote work brings in.

• Mentoring in the hybrid workplace

The most up-to-date SERP findings ever! More blogs are looking at how they can help entrepreneurs and small businesses build better relationships with their employees.

One of those ways? Mentorship programs. There's an audience for this and a not-yet-saturated content landscape. 

• Infrastructure as code

Data centers are now replaced by machine-readable code, as opposed to physical hardware. Content on this topic is still relatively 'lite', but Microsoft has recently updated their documentation on this new system.

• Digital wallet

Digital wallets are fast replacing physical wallets and cards for many (especially those active in the cryptocurrency space). But if you look at the SERP, most articles are still only covering the basics of what a digital wallet is. 

Take this topic further by looking into how people can keep their digital wallets secure, the impact they can have, and what options are available. 

• HEIC and WebP

Image formats from Apple and Google that are soon going to replace the classic JPG and PNG. 

For a post on this trend, go over the benefits of these formats and how people can optimize them for their business. As well as what people need to know about the differences.

• AIoT (The Artificial Intelligence of Things)

AIoT is the mix of AI and the Internet of Things to make for smarter solutions that can help people with their day-to-day duties. 

The topic perfect for both an opinion piece or a step-by-step run through how people can start implementing AIoT in their lives or businesses.

• Facebook Marketplace

The rise of the Facebook Marketplace is explained by people's interest in alternatives to regular store hosting options like Shopify or WooCommerce. 

Individual store owners or small shops are more interested in Facebook as a way of selling their products as the solution is easier to use and more accessible.

• Afterpay [and other apps that allow shoppers to buy now and pay later]
  

Apps like Afterpay and services like Klarna are changing people's shopping habits. And not necessarily for the better.

The "buy now pay later" trend is ripe for an opinion piece on the implications [and risks] associated - as well as any benefits, of course.
