Streaky Bay Cup

Celebrate the Streaky Bay Racing Club's 103rd year of racing at the 2019 Streaky Bay Cup.
The event has everything you could need for a great day at the races including bookmakers, punters club, TAB, EFTPOS and full bar facilities.  There will also be ashuttle bus departing from the Streaky Bay Hotel every half hour.

Funding Opportunities

Farm Hub

The newly released Farm Hub was built by the National Farmers Federation as an online portal for information and resources for farmers (both for business and individuals). The first release of the site is focussed on circulating drought information. Over the coming months, more information will be added about other farming initiatives and support. www.farmhub.org.au

Featured Grants

Business Research and Innovation Initiative (BRII) Pilot Round 2 - provides SMEs with grant funding to develop innovative solutions for government policy and service delivery challenges. Applications close 17 April 2019.

Cooperative Research Centres Projects (CRC-Ps) Round 7 - provides industry-led collaborations with short term (up to three years) matched funding to develop important new technologies, products and services.  Applications close 28 March 2019.

2019 Export Ready Program - for SA businesses who are new to export or who want to take a more strategic approach to exporting.

Research, Commercialisation and Startup Fund (RCSF) - with a focus on launching early-stage startups and scaling up established businesses, designed to help SA entrepreneurs take their innovative products and solutions to global markets.

Arts Projects - Organisations - funds a range of activities that deliver benefits to the arts sector and wider public including national and international audiences.

Active Club Program - helps recreation and sports clubs with facility upgrades and, program and equipment.  Closes 17 Apr 2019.

Community Recreation and Sport Facilities Program - to establish or improve sport and active recreation facilities that meet the needs of the community in SA.  Closes 17 Apr 2019.

Strengthening Rural Communities - to give small rural, regional and remote communities an opportunity for funding that can support broad community needs. Closes 26 March 2019. 

In a Good Place - provides support for initiatives that reduce isolation, increase social participation and connectedness, and encourage people who are at risk of, or are experiencing mental health issues to seek help.  Closes 14 March 2019.

Tackling Tough Times Together - helps communities access the resources they need to support one another through the ongoing affects of the drought.  Closes 30 April 2019.

Food SA Business Growth Program - to assist SA food and beverage manufacturers and producers to identify potential markets and respond to business management challenges through a flexible program of support services. 

On-Farm Emergency Water Infrastructure Rebate Scheme - a rebate to drought affected farmers who invest in urgently needed on-farm water infrastructure.

SA Healthy Towns Challenge - to develop preventative health programs within their community.  Closes 15 April 2019.

Regional SA Business Events Bid Fund - to attract business events which will increase spending in the regional economy.

SA Heritage Grants Program - to help conserve and activate heritage places and areas, and to support heritage trades.  Closes 15 Mar 2019.

Sovereign Industrial Capability Priority Grant - to invest in projects that build capabilities aligned with Defence's Sovereign Industrial Capability Priorities. 

Cyber Security Small Business Program - aims to help small business understand their cyber security vulnerabilities and make considered investments to protect their business.

Defence Global Competitiveness Grant Program - to invest in projects that build export capability to build a stronger, more sustainable and globally competitive Australian defence industry.

Australian Business Advisory Services Digital Solutions - Adelaide Business Hub is delivering the Commonwealth funded Digital Solutions Program to small businesses operating in SA. 

Australian Apprentice Wage Subsidy - will support apprenticeships in skills needs occupations in rural and regional areas. 

Top 5 Government Grants for start-upsEntrepreneurs' Programme, CSIRO Kick-Start, Biomedical Translation Fund, Research and Development Tax Incentive.

Grants SA - Grants for community organisations

Community Grants Hub - offers a simplified grant experience by improving how grants are administered across Government for the benefit of stakeholders and the community.

Grant Connect - provides centralised publication of forecast and current Australian Government grant opportunities.
