Songwriter's Gathering August 11

Come join us for our next Songwriter’s Gathering on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall downstairs.  You are welcome to render a tune or two or simply come and enjoy listening to the great music.  Beverages and light snacks will be provided.

Sunday School - July 1

We will have several special Sundays over the summer for spiritual formation for all ages as well as specific events for our kids.  We are scheduled to meet on the First and Third Sundays of the month at 9:00 a.m.  On the First Sundays of the month, Cathryne Hall will be working with our kids to teach them embroidery as a fun summer crafts project.  Please come join us this Sunday for all the fun.  If you are planning to attend, please let Cathryne know so that she can have the appropriate amount of supplies ready and as always, parents are invited as well.

New Liturgy Beginning June 10

We have begun using a new liturgy on June 10 written by our very own Pastor Joel and Rev. Dr. Delmer Chilton.  Please check it out and practice singing the canticles so you can be ready to sing with passion as we worship in spirit and in truth.

Lauren has asked to take a step back on accompaniment duties for the summer and we are very excited and grateful to have Julie and John Pennell to help in this area for the coming months.

Council Meeting July 8

Our next scheduled Council meeting is July 8 right after church.  Please pray for our Council as they seek to do the Lord's business in a spirit of unity and love for our church and community.
