COVID-19 update

Two updates have been made to the COVID-19 page.  We added a pre-event questionnaire for your units use.  We have also provided a link to the incident reporting tool kit.  As always, our Council Risk Management Committee is constantly reviewing policy, working with state officials, and keeping us informed to ensure all our Scouts and Scouters stay safe!

Scouting's Influential Women

As a statement of honor and appreciation we are designing a
virtual event, and a publication; to honor the open-hearted
nature of courageous frontline people serving us right now. We
envision acknowledging our doctors, nurses, emergency
medical personal, firemen, police, postal workers, grocery
clerks, mothers, sisters, scout leaders, scouts, a friend, family
member, or employee for their courage and commitment.
Women, young and old, from many areas of life.

    Scouting for Food

For many communities, this annual service project is around the corner.  To be flexible, we have created a Scouting for Food landing page.  It's complete with Scouting for Food Bag request forms, how to's, report card, service hour reporting, and much more. Check it out in the link below.

Next week's badge registrations are now open! Also, thanks to our awesome Scouting with Special Needs Committee, they are offering the Disability Awareness merit badge in multiple sessions.

With Halloween just around the corner, here are some great recruitment ideas for your Cub Scout or Pack to use to recruit new Cub Scouts and families to join the Scouting program.

These can be great ways to reach those families who missed your Join Scouting Night, want to be part of Scouting, but simply don’t know how or who to call.

Let’s help them join the fun and adventure of Cub Scouting!

    • Attach “Join Scouting” stickers to candy.
    • Hand out Join Cub Scouting Flyer when handing out candy.
    • Have current Cub Scouts hand out business cards to other boys and girls about Scouting.
    • Put a “Join Scouting” lawn sign in your yard.
    • Make a special invitation to invite potential Scouts and families to your next Pack meeting or Halloween event.
    • Hang a Cub Scout Poster on your door.
