In times like these it is important to remember we have been through tough times before.  As we weather the emotions of this Pandemic, it is important to us at Six Strings that we remain steadfast to our mission and remember that creativity, love and patience are key ingredients to helping all of the people we serve get through this. Once this all subsides, and it will, we will be stronger together.

We know structure and routine are important for children but for a Special Needs child it’s a MUST. We didn’t want to let our students down so we had to get creative.  We started filming songs the children like. Board Member, Misty Wilson edits them into concerts.  We then send a link out to the teachers to distribute to their students.  We finished our first series on the 27th and are starting the next.  If you are interested in seeing what we have been up to check out our Free At Home Concert Library. Six Strings Acoustic is one of the more than 700 nonprofit organizations to participate in Arizona Gives Day, a 24-hour online fundraising initiative on Tuesday, April 7, 2020.
