Jump Start your Roses in Spring

Want to learn how to grow and nurture your roses the right way? In this class, Telly’s rosarian, Susan, will provide spring care guidelines so you can get your roses off to a healthy start. Susan will share simple tips for spring pruning, fertilizing, and disease prevention. Weather permitting, she will also do a short, live pruning demonstration. Class fee is $10 per person. Bonsai Workshop

Intrigued by the ancient art of Bonsai? In this Make & Take Workshop, participants will plant and create their own Bonsai tree. Telly’s Bonsai master, Lamont, will provide instruction regarding plant and pot selection, root combing, root pruning, potting, basic styling techniques, and aftercare. Workshop fee is $45 per person. Pre-registration is required.

In this Make & Take workshop, members of the southeastern Michigan Herb Society will assist participants in creating a beautiful container full of fresh herbs.
