Virtual Tour and Wine Tasting Invitation 🍷

We are into our 11th week of “Shelter in Place” and may be for a while depending on where you live.  Life with your loved ones 24/7, never ending news and homeschooling kids, could drive anyone to drink. So instead of drinking a bottle of 2 Buck Chuck, alone, why not level up, to a fun virtual XOOM Tour and Wine Tasting Party?

Let’s face it, we all have cabin fever. Our vacations are on hold, we can’t wait to get back out there to explore the world. After watching a million videos of places we want and can’t go to right now, we need more buckets for our Bucket Lists. Unfortunately, I don’t have that magical date, just yet. But I do have the next best thing.

My friend, Warren Egnal, founder of DouxVin, and I will do what we each do best and take you on a virtual tour and a real wine tasting.

Warren is totally charming; a walking, talking Wikipedia of wine. He knows every wine in every region of the world, he’s amazing. DouxVin has the most impressive selection of wines, from the perfect red for pizza to the rarest of Grand Cru’s. And of course, XOOM Tours can turn your travel dreams into reality.

So, since we can’t go out into the world, we’ll bring the world to you.

HERE'S THE PLAN:

We have scheduled 3 different virtual travel tours and wine tasting from 3 different wine growing regions of the world. Each night, we’ll use Zoom Video Conferencing to present a virtual travel tour and wine tasting, with 1 white and 1 red from each region.

Before each wine tasting, you’ll see gorgeous photos and videos of the region and what you will be able to experience when you get to travel there from the experts. Think of it as whetting your appetite for the tasting. Then Warren will introduce us to the wines you were shipped, and we’ll taste, ask questions and have a great time.

This is how it works. If you want to participate in the wine tasting, you will need to order the 6 bottle set from DouxVin in advance. Warren has made it super simple. The six bottles will be sent directly to your home, in time for the tastings.

The cost for all 6 bottles ($215) plus tax and shipping ($25) is $240. I think there are only a few states that he can’t ship to. Someone 21 years of age or older, has to be available to receive the wine.

For our wine participants, you must order by June 8th. That will ensure that Warren can get the wines packed, ready to be shipped and sent, so you’ll have them in time, for the first tasting. Shipments take longer to the east coast, which is why he needs the lead time.
