Dear HAUS Alumni and Friends of Heidelberg University,

It is our great pleasure to invite you to a private tour of the 

Baden-Württemberg-class frigate FGS Baden-Württemberg (F-222) from Germany. 

This rare opportunity to see a German Navy Ship was made possible by our Washington D.C. Co-Chair Sarah Rice, who will be present on the tour.

The ship is anchored in Manhattan at Pier 90 North (50th/12)

This tour has 8 extra slots for our HAUS members. We will fill them on a first come, first served basis. Once the slots are filled, we will maintain a waiting list. Thank you for your understanding.

PLEASE NOTE: The tour will focus on weapons and combat systems. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that are closed-toe and good for walking and going up and down “ladders” (steep/narrow staircases). Please also bring a government issued ID. Most likely there will be a security screening, so check what is in your bag beforehand. Please be on time, the tour will start between 8:15 and 8:30 AM.
