Hi, I’m Mabel. I'm a 1-year-old hound mix. I love pets and cuddles--especially when you scratch my back. I'm not much of a kisser (hey, a girl's gotta have limits) but I love to sniff your face and cuddle up close. My human friends say that I'm beautiful and my fur is soft which makes me the perfect pal to snuggle when you are on the couch watching TV or reading a book. But I also like to have some fun; my dream is a backyard where I can run around and play with some friends (human or canine--I love everyone!) Are you looking for someone who likes walks in the sun, racing in circles, and giving furry hugs? Then I'm your girl.

Congratulations to PIPPI, OATLY, and ZIVA, previously known at PAW as ELLIE, BUSTER, and BUNNY, for winning the largest numbers of votes online as part of our PAW Adopted Pets 2024 Calendar Fundraiser!

Thank you to everyone who entered, voted,and helped us raise funds to care for the many animals who will someday grace future calendars, and congrats to all the pets featured in the calendar!

Calendars are now on sale for $15 each with all proceeds going to current PAW animals. You can pick one up at our adoption shows or they can be mailed with a small additional packaging and shipping cost. They make great holiday gifts for the animal lovers in your life and it also helps raise much needed funds for PAW.

PAW relies on volunteers to help our animals get around, including going to and from adoption shows and vet appointments, plus taking their Ride to Freedom from shelters to us. Our current need for transporters is high!
