My friends are helping me write "the hook" (otherwise known as the first line of the back cover blurb) for my next book, A Double Shot of Dead. It's the second book in the Perfect Brew trilogy due out in the new year. It's not easy to come up with the first line, but we've come up with three. Which do you like best? I'd love to have your feedback on this.
