Scouting for Food – help support the needy in our community in November or February.

Relive the Summer Camp Experience?

Time Commitment: Seasonal 1 to 6 weeks annually

Trail to Eagle Camp – join us around 4^th of July for one week at D-bar-A Scout Ranch

Summer Camp Staff – spend a week or more at camp having the best summer ever right along side our Scouts and leaders.

Committee Member – Eagle Scout Alumni of Michigan

Our committee leads by the Scout Oath and Law to carry on the value of Scouting to our council and the community we serve. We need Eagle Scout volunteers to join our committee and help deliver this message.

• Events subcommittee – Eagle Recognition, Speaker Series, and Social Events

• Service projects subcommittee – All events including the Annual Eagle Recognition Dinner and Building Character Celebration

• Communications subcommittee – Eagle Search,
  E-communication, and Scholarships

• Membership subcommittee – Membership, District Relations, and Eagle Court of Honor Assistance

Recognizing our Eagle Scout Alumni

BSA Alumni Award - The award recognizes registered Scouters who help unregistered alumni rejoin the program. This task breaks down into four categories of requirements:

• Alumni identification and promotion, such as contacting former members, planning alumni activities, and/or presenting to non-Scout groups.
• Alumni engagement, including helping two former members become registered Scouters or recruiting alumni to volunteer at Scouting events.
• Personal participation, which could mean serving on an alumni committee or sharing your experiences at the BSA Alumni Web site.
• Personal education, such as completing the online alumni training or taking an alumni course at the Philmont Training Center.
