on April’s Fridays..

As part of the media library renewing program launched by the French Institute in Egypt, AFCA is inviting you to bring your kids to one of our interesting activities that will be held on Fridays of April. 

Two activities for two different age groups will be provided in the French language as follows:

Storytelling Hour: 2nd & 9th of April at 10 am, for children aged 3 to 9 years old.

Games book-making workshop: 2nd, 9th, 16th & 23rd of April from 2 - 4 pm, for children aged 7 to 12 years old.
This activity is based on Antoine Saint-Exupéry’s novel "The Little Prince".

AFCA @ ASSITEJ International Congress..

On Monday the 22nd of March, AFCA’s founder, and artistic director Mohamed El-Ghawy was invited to participate in the panel “How are you really doing?” organized by Assitej NL. 

This inspiring question was directed to artists/professionals working in the field of TYA (Theater for Young Audiences) through this online meeting, evoking their impression and feelings towards what the pandemic has left inside their life, not from a practical perspective as usual but from a psychological one.

Meet the selected trainees of (Make Theater for Autistic children) Open Call..

Tomorrow, the 2nd of April the world is celebrating World Autism Awareness Day. 

On this occasion, we would love to announce the 6 participants that were selected out of the 54 applications we received from the open call to make theater for autistic children we launched last month in collaboration with the British Council in Egypt and Bamboozle Theater company from the UK.

AFCA’s Theater & Storytelling Training at Smart Way Language School..

On Tuesday the 9th of March, AFCA’s team visited "Smart Way Language School" in the context of the new project: "Theater & Storytelling Training for Teachers", which AFCA had recently launched. 

18 teachers enjoyed a range of artistic activities that can be used in delivering the curriculum to their students in a more effective way.

Hakawy International Arts Festival for Children - 11th Edition - Save the Date!

We are more than delighted to finally announce Hakawy’s new dates that are scheduled to be from the 28th of September to the 5th of October 2021.
