Hello! Hope you are all good?

Things have been busy this end - hence my fairly inconsistent blogs- my apologies! However...I am back and getting organised and am writing a series of blogs to let you know a little bit more about the methods I regularly use with my clients as not only is it good to spread the word (I'm never not marketing!!)  but I aware a lot of you read this originally signed up to get my fashion/style advice and so don't know much about my approach to coaching and who I help.  I also thought they by sharing it would spark thought, ideas, reflection for yourselves and this could prove helpful for you.

So- starting from the beginning...

Who are my clients?

PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS AND SOLOPRENEURS
Whether you have got to a crossroads in your life and you are not sure which way to turn or you are a solopreneur running your own businesses, I support you to overcome personal barriers as well as getting structure, discipline and a clear plan of action in place.

EXECUTIVES, MANAGERS & TEAMS
As individuals for personal coaching or for group work as part of a team, I provide the support to maximise the individual and collective potential.

The first questions I ask:

If you are a private individual, I always send out a form pre-first session for my clients to fill in and return so that we can 'hit the ground running' when we start working together. These are some of the questions I ask:

  1. What do you really love about your job/life?  Why?
  2. What is going really well for you (at work) at the moment and why?
  3. What do you not love about it?
  4. What motivates you – money, challenge, promotion, leadership?
  5. Please list three things that you think you are good at (with regards to your job if relevant)
  6. Please list three things that you feel you could improve on within your job.
  7. Please list three ways that you know you limit your success or effectiveness.
  8. What drains you (at work?)  Why?
  9. If I gave you a magic wand what one thing (in your workplace or life) would you wish for?

We spend the session going through these questions - this discussion will shed so much light on where my client currently is and what they are needing my support with.

'Direction Injection' sessions

To me there is no point supporting someone to reach their goals (or for some, to even work out what their goals are) until they have a really strong foundation of knowing who they are, what they are about, what is important to them and how they behave and get 'tripped up'.  The next two sessions are either done in one day or in two separate sessions but I call them a 'Direction Injection' as the methods I use give the individual so much clarity, personal insight and vision that they are then raring to get going!

The two methods I use are Clarity 4D Personality Profiling and the Values Matrix.

Clarity 4D Personality Profiling is a tool designed to help individuals gain insights into their own personality and understand others better. With this knowledge you’ll have the ability to flex your communication style in line with your audience(s), creating clarity, reducing confusion and aiding efficiency. If you want to read more about it- here is a link to my website.

The Values Matrix is a framework for developing a clear route to maximise your potential

  • We identify your core and / or business values and goals
  • We identify your “hooks” and “unhelpful behaviours” that take you away from your values and goals
  • We then discover the “helpful behaviours and decisions” you can start to do that will take you towards your values and goals

Once we have done this work we are then in a very strong position as you (and I) understand your strengths and areas of weakness really well, we know how you communicate and you have a good understanding of how to manage other peoples' communication styles. We know your values, what your hooks are and what you have done in the past to self sabotage yourself. Now we can start to put in place some clear, measurable and appropriate goals with tangible and manageable action points. My client can then chose to go forward on their own with this framework or they might require a little more one to one support from me to get them going.

So I wonder if reading this has made you think about where you are in your life with your job, your role, your home, your relationships? Has it made you reflect on how well you know yourself, how well you can flex your communication style in order to get the best out of others or whether you have clear goals with measurable action points to ensure that you reach them?

If this has struck a chord with you and would like to talk to me to find out more and discuss what you are currently struggling with, then I offer free 15 minute sessions to chat it through. Here is a link to book your slot.

Or you feel you or the company you work for would like more information about the services I offer;  whether its for personality profiling, coaching, training or team support- do get in touch.

With best wishes

Kate
