Dear USET/USET SPF Family,
The U.S. Department of the Treasury has issued a Dear Tribal Leader Letter announcing Tribal consultation on compliance and reporting guidance for Tribal entities that received funds from the Capital Projects Fund (CPF). The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) established the CPF and provided $100 million for Tribal Nations to implement capital projects to support work, education, and health monitoring (including remote options), in response to the COVID-19 public health emergency. Each Tribal Nation received an allocation of $167,504 if they submitted a CPF application by October 14, 2022 to participate in the program. This Tribal consultation will focus on formulating the CPF compliance and reporting guidance.
