Issue 84- October 30, 2020

Hello Friends-

"Welcome back to this week's episode of, "The Cre8tive Life"- your weekly newsletter full of lifestyle tips, smiles, and musings.

I hope this finds you doing well (all things considered). My emotions have been all over the place this week with everything that is going on in the world. Aside from working on my projects, and doing my daily art, I have mostly been cocooning and trying to protect my energy. To be honest, I really wasn't in the mood to put anything out this week...but, I have been determined to hold myself accountable in producing this weekly "cre8tive share" with the world (especially, because I know how I can get caught up in my little bubble of anti-socialism if left up to my own devices). My hope is always that it helps spark a "little light" into someone's day- even if that's just one person.

You'll notice a little bit of a difference in this week's format...I opted to go for a bit of a different vibe this week based upon my mood. I still hope that you're able to get something out of it!

Lastly, thanks to all of you who are sharing kind words, and keeping up with my 31 day art challenge. I've been grateful for the moments of joy it has bought me. (follow the hashtag #ArtoberWithE on instagram --if you're interested to see what I have been making).

As always, sending lots of love and hugs to you all.

And, continued prayers that you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy (mentally & physically) out there 💗.

Random stories, pictures, video highlights, and other life musings can be found on my personal instagram page (@e101) and official brand page (@thecre8tiveartisan) throughout the week (when/if I end up posting anything).

*And, if you have missed any previous newsletters, feel free to check out the archive section on my website: HERE.

  • TIP 1: Start a daily gratitude journal, and capture three things that you're grateful for every day (no matter how small)

  • TIP 2: Create (or find) a personalized mantra of inspiration that you can repeat to yourself when you feel weighed down

  • TIP 3: Provide random acts of kindness towards people that mean a lot to you (and remember, the "little things are often the BIG things)

  • TIP 4: Reduce the digital toxicity around you (yes, that may mean social media, as well as any news that totally consumes you)

  • TIP 5: Try to incorporate healthier fruits, vegetables, and other foods into your diet (get cre8tive and even try to "make" it fun)

  • TIP 6: Take at least 30 minutes out of each day to do something that renews your spirit (a walk, cre8ting something, exercising, etc.)

  • TIP 7: Develop a morning/evening routine of prayer, reflection, or meditation that feels good to you. That is DEFINITELY needed in times like these!!

Though the outcome of next week is still unknown...

May we all continue to remember this in the interim.

This week's challenge is to:

Remember to breathe!

I will be taking a bit of a mini pause on my community activations as I gear up for some new projects that will taking up a lot more of my bandwidth. But, be on the lookout for some (very sporadic) events here and there. (As doing these events, and sharing in community really does bring me joy.)

And, if you haven't heard me say it lately, I want to thank you for your support and readership. It means a lot that you take time out of your day to take in my  little musings and life shares!

Lastly, if you happen to have any future topic ideas, or come across any events I should know about, PLEASE feel free to send those along my way. I always LOVE discovering and learning about new things!

Have a great day, and be sure to take time to enjoy your life!

*"The Cre8tive Life" is the weekly "feel good" component of my consultancy, The Cre8tive Artisan, which is where I "make the magic happen" and curate engaging lifestyle events that help connect us humans in deeper ways. Feel free to CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE to see what I do, and let me know if there is ever anything I can do to help you out! As always, if this newsletter is "not your thing", please feel free to unsubscribe (however, I really hope you don't).
