An attempted robbery has been reported aboard a container vessel anchored in the Suez Canal Southern Anchorage, Egypt. Duty crew noticed two illegal boarders climbing the ship's anchor chain and directed a search light towards them. The boarders subsequently escaped empty handed. This is the first reported incident of this type within the area this year, and the first incident reported in the region since 20th of June 2022.
