Well I'm not sure about you, but for me it's been some week, full of extremes!
Something really bad happened to our business with some Facebook hackers managing to cause our account to be charged thousands of pounds. Yet something amazing happened yesterday with the biggest lockdown reopening so far. We played Adventure Golf and went for lunch! Pretty good hey?
Don't worry, I'm sure the thousands taken will come back to us so onwards and upwards.
Hopefully your week was good but if not, I'm sure this week certainly will be. Restaurants, cinema, theatres, attractions... the whole shebang have reopened basically so there's loads to do again. As I just mentioned, we checked out the new Lost City Adventure Golf in St Stephens yesterday which was really good fun. They've really gone to town on it, so it's the best adventure golf I've seen in Hull so far. Make sure you head to our Facebook page and check out the live tour we did from there yesterday.
Theatre comes back to Hull this week for the first time in over a year too! Joe Pasquale will be on stage performing in John Godber's new comedy.
What else? Oh yes. Restaurants are back, and if you're like me and love a good all-you-can-eat, check out the buffet restaurants that have reopened again around Hull.
And if you're still wanting to get away but don't fancy / can't get in Portugal (I don't blame you, I'd rather stay in the UK this year!), then check out the amazing seaside resorts we have within a couple of hours drive. You'll have a really great time at any of them, I'm sure!
Whatever you get up to this week, have a great time and stay safe!

John Godber’s comedy drama April in Paris will be the first show to open at Hull New Theatre after more than a year of closure when the boulevards, boulangeries and bistros of the French capital hit the stage in just over a week’s time.

Holidays are back! The latest lift in lockdown restrictions means that all hotels and shared accommodation has reopened giving us so much more choice of where to stay. With only 12 countries available to travel to right now, it looks like the British Seaside holiday is your best chance of a family getaway this year.
With the weather getting warmer, and plenty of seaside resorts nearby to Hull, you can enjoy the fish and chips, arcades, the beach and plenty more. Here are some places for a seaside holiday within an easy driving distance of Hull, that we think you’ll love.
Step 3 of the Lockdown Roadmap is here! Yesterday we had the biggest return to normal we’ve had so far with indoor dining and drinking coming back, cinemas, theatres and other venues now able to reopen, along with hotels.
Summer’s approaching and, with restrictions easing, we now have more freedom to go out together and have fun! No matter the weather, these indoor water parks are the best places to go on a day out, and they’re not that far from home.
With festivals and other events being cancelled last year, thankfully, the end is in sight and many have announced they’ll return this year bigger and better than ever. Here are the biggest festivals both locally and nationally to look forward to when lockdown is set to end on 21 June.
We’ve been stuck at home for months so a trip to one of these farms or zoos is just what you and the family might need. A bunch of them have reopened across Yorkshire with covid measures in place. We’ve rounded up 10 of the closest to Hull & East Yorkshire...

Street food is all the rage amongst foodies, and it’s easy to see why. Luckily for us in Hull, we have a whole hall which is packed with amazing street food vendors that are offering great tasting, and often unique, eating experiences; all whilst keeping the costs down.
You might not know it, but things are changing in Hull. This city has been changing constantly over the past 15 years and there’s plenty more in the pipeline that you can start to get excited about.
