391 graduate in first LRU commencement

Class of '79 alumna Cynthia B. Piccirilli, M.D. delivered the 54th commencement address and received an Honorary Doctorate of Public Service on Saturday, May 11. 391 students received first ever La Roche University degrees, including two doctoral degrees, 53 master’s degrees, 327 bachelor’s degrees and 9 associate degrees.  Learn more

Congratulations to the 12 graduating seniors who received high honors at the annual Honors Convocation.  The Honors Institute cultivates intellectual discourse and promotes scholarly achievement. LRU wins 6th straight AMCC championship

The La Roche University Men's Baseball team are champions again! They won their sixth straight AMCC Championship and their seventh in the past eight years and will go on to the NCAA Regional in Adrian, MI. Go Redhawks!  Read more

Alumna travels the globe healing the sick

Laurel Houck, a registered nurse, has been a medical liaison for the South East Asia Prayer Center in Oakmont for 10 years. She has been on mission trips to Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, Nepal, Haiti, Kashmir and other places in hopes of making a difference and healing the sick.  Learn more

Pittsburgh Steelers charity basketball game

Faculty and staff from La Roche University competed against players from the Pittsburgh Steelers during a charity basketball game on Friday, April 26. Proceeds from the event benefited the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  See more

Students organize charity car cruise

La Roche University’s Car Society held a car show on campus May 4th. The  Society’s mission is to bring car enthusiasts together and help local charities. The show featured food vendors, giveaways and music and all proceeds benefited the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  Read more
