First and foremost, a shout out to Ms. Queenie Johnson (School for Brilliant Thinkers, LLC.)  Here are a few key 🗝 takeaways from the Town Hall:

• Come up with a system for how you validate information.
• Embrace the struggle.
• The anti-whiteness (especially by white people) pushes people away. It's really important to shift away from anger and move towards forward movement + coming together.
• Invite > Ostracize
• Learning is "managing focus"
• The role of the listener is to think about what the speaker is saying.
• The value is not in the HOW; it's in the WHAT.
• 1. Figure out what your listeners value. 2. Meet them where they are and make that bridge.
• You can't go into ANY conversation wanting someone to be on your "side" or agree with you.
