On May 3, a USET Programmatic Alert was sent on the Survey of Native Nations Participation Opportunity. The Center for Indian Country Development (CICD) and the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis is conducting an innovative and ambitious economic development data collection project called the Survey of Native Nations. On Tuesday, July 2nd at 12PM Eastern time/11AM Central, CICD will host a webinar for interested Tribal governments and we encourage all USET members to register a representative. The webinar will contain an overview of the survey questions, a review of a sample private final report created from the data and information about how to enroll your government in the survey which launches later this summer. By partnering together to collect data from Tribal Nation directly and offering the data stewardship of the Federal Reserve Bank, we believe Tribal Nations can cooperate, mutually benefit and learn from each other anonymously and without compromising closely-held economic data.
