We started 2020 with such hope and big plans -- had a full food truck festival schedule for the year, from Florida to New Mexico to Wisconsin and back to New England. Then -- everything changed in mid-March. We all know what happened -- because we are all still dealing with the pandemic, with horrifying numbers and illness.
Without re-living it all, suffice it to say that life is different now -- and will be probably for many years -- and while it's been so sad to see many of our food trucks shut down forever, we are also hopeful that we can continue to pivot (as we have since March) and help generate a little revenue for some trucks along the way.
Food Truck Festivals of America is under new ownership and we wish the new owner, our former Senior Producer Anthony Pepe, a great festival year in 2021.
Under our new name, Food Truck Ventures, we hope to grow our Neighborhood StrEATs, StrEATs for Schools and StrEATs for Good programs . Read more about these programs below or at Food Truck Ventures.
And, of course, to our foodie friends around the country - our wishes to you all for a healthy, safe and sane holiday season and an especially healthy 2021. Remember to support your local restaurants and food trucks -- and hug your families (safely). We look forward to staying in touch in the New Year.
