The Michigan Crossroads Council (MCC) of Scouting America is proud to announce the annual Scouting for Food drive, a longstanding tradition that mobilizes Scouts and leaders from across the council to combat hunger in local communities. Scouts will collect non-perishable food donations from residents, ensuring these vital resources reach local and statewide food pantries.
On November 2, Scouts will distribute bags and flyers to encourage community participation in this important initiative. Then on November 9th, Scouts will visit neighborhoods throughout Michigan, gathering donations of non-perishable food items.
The Scouting for Food project embodies the spirit of Scouting and our commitment to service in communities across the state. We invite everyone across Michigan to join us in making a difference in the fight against hunger in Michigan. Join us in supporting our communities and tackling hunger together.
