Havven's November Update

November Update

Multicurrency nomins are coming!

We are excited to announce the stablecoin currencies that will be launched in the first release of Havven's new multicurrency system. The initial release will include pegs to the Euro (nEURO), Japanese Yen (nJPY), Korean Won (nKRW), the Australian Dollar (nAUD), and gold (nXAU).

There will be future releases with further currency pegs, and at least one new nomin currency will be chosen by the Havven community. More details, including a launch date, will be announced soon!

HAV is now listed on Paradex, a decentralised relay platform. The first trading pair available is HAV/WETH (WETH = wrapped ETH). The Havven team sees DEXs as being a major part of the blockchain's future, so we are always pleased to contribute to the growing decentralised ecosystem.

A few members of the Havven team were fortunate enough to attend several crypto events, including ETH San Francisco, Web3 Summit in Berlin, and Devcon 4 in Prague. The travelling team reported that it was fantastic to see the rest of the Ethereum community so focused on technical delivery, and our CTO, Justin, wrote up his reflections here

Minting nomins through our new tool, Mintr, is currently only available to HAV holders who applied to be whitelisted and received a confirmation email. If that includes you, and you haven't tried it out yet, you can give it a go here
  • Kain's been busy at the keyboard writing about the stablecoin space, and you can read his most recent blog articles here and here
  • We're currently working on our new website. Let us know in Discord which features you'd like to see there!
