Hello, lovely readers!
The picture above shows our two lastest German Shorthaired Pointers, Oakley and Bruno (#6 and #5; we've had GSPs since my husband and I were first married).
Bruno, like a few of our GSPs, has developed thunderstorm anxiety. After some spectacular spring storms this year and trying (and failing) to convince Bruno that he didn't need to park all of his giant 90 lb. body on my lap to survive a little rain, I did my research and decided to try a ThunderShirt. (That's not an affiliate link; I just wanted to point you in the right direction if you wanted to read more about the science behind it.)
Bruno LOVES it. And not just for thunderstorms. Oh no. He would wear it every day, 24/7, if I didn't take it off of him. He loves it so much and is so happy wearing it that we renamed it his ThunderCape... because he acts invincible and super silly when he's wearing it. ;-)
It's good to have something that makes you feel invincible in this crazy life.
