Hi ,
It's only Week #3 of another year - but feels like a good time for two reminders:
1. How are you prioritizing self-care this year?
January is promising to be an angst-filled month (in the US, anyway). How are you taking care of yourself? Whether you’re into Epsom salt-baths, 10-minute meditation sessions, belly breaths, sage-burning, an extra hour of sleep, or a self-care sandwich – this is your gentle reminder to seek your moments of calm and protect your energy amidst the craziness.
This includes limiting your doom-scrolling and excessive news consumption.
2. How are those 2021 goals going?
Nah, not here to guilt you about those goals you scribbled onto a napkin at the end of 2020. I’m here to make your life easier.
Whether you decided to:
- Lose 10lbs and fit into your pre-pandemic clothes by June; or
- Quit drinking for the month of January; or
- Run 2 miles every day; or
- Get arms like Michelle Obama's by August; or
...{insert ambitious goal here}, here’s a reminder that a) it’s not too late to start, AND b) you don’t have to “go big or go home.”
In fact, when it comes to designing an achievable goal, I believe in starting where you are and keeping it simple. I call it the “less overwhelm, more action” approach, and even created a goal-setting worksheet to get you started.
So if you're stuck and need help getting your goals off the ground; use my goal-setting worksheet to simplify, get super focused, and organize your game-plan to begin.
It's not too late. Grab my worksheet below – and share it with others!
