I know these are two very common verses. But as we approach Thanksgiving and we stop and think about the things we are thankful for this year, you — the folks that support us with prayers and financial sacrifice — come to mind.

It is not a stretch to say we could not be here in Missouri, serving at Missionary Acres without you. We are so thankful for each and every one of you. We thank you for your prayers, and we too pray for each of you. We often talk to the kids about the churches and individuals who support our ministry and pray for you as a family.

So even though I already said it, I want to say it again, Thank You!

At the end of October, we took our furthest trip east to date and traveled to Mechanicsburg, PA. We spent four days at Emmanuel Baptist Church and participated in their Mission Conference. This was a fantastic trip through some beautiful colors as the leaves were all changing and starting to fall. The kids enjoyed seeing some new territory.

The trip also allowed for some downtime each day. We were able to take the kids to Hershey, and even went on a free tour of the chocolate factory. And on a rainy day, we drove through a self-tour of local covered bridges in Lancaster County.

On our way home from the missions conference, we were able to stop in and see the folks at First Baptist Church in Tallmadge, OH. This was the first church Bryan preached in after joining Baptist Mid-Missions back in 2018. It was an absolute pleasure to re-connect and meet some new folks as well.

Praise God we had good roads and safe travels on this trip. We had a couple of long nights on the road, including driving the 10+ hours from Ohio back to Missionary Acres after church and straight through. The kids did great in the car but were happy to arrive back at the Acres.

Since our last letter, we have had two groups come and volunteer at Missionary Acers. One group was a two-person team who came to help clean up and re-organize some of the yard sale items. They also helped to clean up some debris leftover from some other projects this summer and allowed us to prepare for the changing seasons. These two men are regular volunteers here at Missionary Acres, they come down every year for two separate weeks and work. It doesn’t matter what we need to complete, they jump right in and help. They are a real blessing to the staff and residents.

The second group that came down was a group of two couples. They too have been here before. While here, they helped complete a lot of smaller items throughout the property and some larger projects. One of the men is a certified electrician, and we were able to utilize him in a home remodel for a future resident. He was also able to work in multiple other houses and the office by troubleshooting and correcting some electrical concerns.

While the last group was here, we also spent significant time at our future home. With the help of these two men and Ken Moon (the administrator), we were able to complete the new floor in the old garage and frame in all the walls. Bryan is now working on the electrical and plumbing.

We have three homes that need remodeling and one new construction project all in the works right now, with the possibility of a couple more projects coming soon.

None of these projects can be completed in a timely manner without the help of volunteers who are willing to come and serve. If you are interested in coming to Missionary Acres and serving with our staff for any period of time, please let us know! We are always looking for faithful servants of God. Any and all skill levels are welcome.

We have had some interesting weather over the past month. There were three tornadoes within about an hour’s drive of Missionary Acres in late October, and this past week, we felt an earthquake that was also within that one-hour driving distance. Thankfully, all of these events missed Missionary Acres and we suffered no damage.

God had indeed placed his had of protection on this piece of land. We praise Him daily for keeping us all safe. And we would ask that you all join us in praising God for His protection and ask that He would continue to protect our ministry. Please also keep those who have been negatively affected by these events in your prayers.

Just in case we don’t say it enough, Thank You again to everyone who supports our ministry and the ministry of Missionary Acres.

• Owen had a successful neurology appointment and is doing well.
• We had a safe trip to Pennsylvania and Ohio and made it back to Missionary Acres.
• Ezra is growing well and is beginning to crawl.

• For patience as we’re all currently living in a small temporary home and are going to be here longer than originally anticipated.
• That our family would grow closer to God and continue to grow spiritually as we adjust to being on the field and continue the last bits of deputation.
• For salvation for our children who are not yet saved.
• That God would raise our support level to 100%. We are currently at 84.8%. We need to raise $884 per month.
• For continued safety on the roads.
• For continued health for our family.
