Teaching Excellence Program – Opportunity for MLTAV Members
Are you a curious, committed, capable and connected teacher of Languages?
· The Victorian Government is developing an exciting new organisation, the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership (the Academy) that will commence operations in 2022.
· Within the Academy, the flagship program for teachers is the Teaching Excellence Program (TEP), a discipline-focused, one-year program to advance the professional expertise and classroom practices of up-to 250 highly skilled classroom teachers from government, Catholic and independent schools.
· On graduation participants become a Fellow and can apply to become a Master Teacher of the Academy or embark on Fellowship research. This is a great opportunity for highly skilled members to form networks with other highly skilled colleagues across Victorian and across sectors.
Applications are now open for the inaugural program and close on 15 September 2021.
