One critical element for us since inception has been people growth and recently we have institutionalised an internal mechanism, a holistic professional development framework, towards this.

The Female Economy - Putting women at the centre stage through Social Commerce

Social commerce is likely to grow 10x in the next 4-5 years, empowering women and small sellers. With the right ecosystem, entrepreneurship opportunities for an additional ~32M women can be enabled in the next 5 years.

In the absence of MSP, price fluctuations are volatile for perishable crops

While MSP provides a safety net against price fluctuations by ensuring a minimum support price, it is limited to certain crops and geographies. For instance, in Odisha, price fluctuations under paddy are restricted as compared to perishable crops such as tomato which face high volatility. There is a need to ensure innovative safeguards, espeicllay for horticulture crops.

What is new at GDi?

Meet Manav!

Manav completed his Bachelor of Management Studies from Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, Delhi University post which he joined Boston Consulting Group as a Specialist in the Technology Advantage practice. He worked closely with Case Teams to harvest and generate Intellectual Property for BCG. Manav has a consistent record with volunteer experience working with NGOs where he taught English and Sciences to underprivileged children.
