Three Kings Day Celebration

January 5th, 5 pm
beginning at 500 E. Cypress St. traveling to The Creamery

Enjoy a three kings’ procession with live camels, a winter enchanted trail walk, crafts, salsa dancing lessons and more. The celebrations begin at 5pm at the soft opening and naming of the recently constructed Red Clay Park Demonstration Project at 500 East Cypress Street. Join the three kings on their journey, with their camels, down the red clay trail to the Kennett Creamery starting at 5:30pm. The trail will be sparkling with lighting to guide your way. Events will continue at the Creamery, where you can take pictures with the camels until 7pm, make your own picture frame, take salsa dancing lessons, and enjoy the live salsa band from 8pm-11pm.

Death Conversations Open Discussion Group

January 8th, 6:30-8 pm
Grieco Funeral Home: 405 W. State St.

Death is hard but you know what makes it easier? Talking about it with other people. Join the first "Open Discussion Group" of the new year. This space is offered because there are few places that people can go in this world to talk about death and dying and many find this gathering meaningful. There is no set agenda, no sales pitch, no dogma. The event is free.
