International Dance Movement Therapist and Educator Nana Koch returns to Australia to present a didactic and experiential workshop on the full expression of the individual.
This one-day event is open to clinicians and students of Dance Movement Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy, Psychotherapy, Somatic Psychotherapy and related fields.
Together, we will see what Adler’s concept of life force looks like in the body. We will identify blockages and tension patterns that prevent mobility and full expression, that affect body alignment and movement efficiency. We will explore movement sequences that serve to free the body of tension and holding. And we will experience how improvisation helps unleash a full range of feelings and emotions in the body.
The day includes time to reflect, share and ask questions.
