one6G academic paper on the potential of in-network computing in 6G networks

The publication titled, An Intelligent User Plane to Support In-Network Computing in 6G Networks was published as part of the Next Generation Networking and Internet Symposium (NGNI) of the IEEE ICC’23. The paper is a result of joint activities of one6G Working Group 2, including several one6G members from academia and industry.

New White Paper

one6G’s Working Group 1 released a new white paper, titled 6G & Robotics: Use Cases and Potential Service Requirements, which analyzes a set of use cases and potential service requirements in different domains, such as education, logistics, and healthcare.

Open Lecture 6 – Sustainability in 6G

The latest one6G Open Lecture gathered five distinguished speakers who presented their views on how and why 6G technology will play a pivotal role in shaping a sustainable ecosystem. The event was a great success, having gathered over 90 participants from more than 20 different countries.

one6G’s 5th contribution to the ITU-R Vision for 2030 and Beyond

In June 2023, one6G submitted its fifth contribution to the IMT Vision for 2030 and Beyond, further contributing to shaping the ITU-R recommendation on IMT-2030 — the vision recommendation for the next generation of mobile communication systems.

one6G at the EuCNC & 6G Summit 2023

one6G organized a Special Session at the EuCNC & 6G Summit 2023, titled 6G enabled Network Applications for the Future of Connected Robotics. The session was organized in partnership with NetWorld Europe’s Vertical WG and the 5G-ERA project and featured presentations delivered by academic researchers and industry experts.

one6G at VTC2023-Spring

one6G WG1 Chair, Prof. Mohammad Shikh-Bahaei chaired and moderated an Industry Track Panel Wireless Futures at the 2023 IEEE 97th Vehicular Technology Conference: VTC2023-Spring. The panel featured six renewed experts on wireless communication who discussed their vision for the future of wireless technology.

one6G at the 6G Symposium Spring 2023

one6G was represented at the 6G Symposium Spring 2023 by WG1 Chair, Prof. Mohammad Shikh-Bahaei who participated in a panel discussion titled What Do End Users Want From 6G? The panel focused on what end users expect from 6G and how consensus on strategies to develop this next-generation technology can be built.
