This email is concerning the Seven Foundations of Health.
When people become ill, they become severely imbalanced in their basic bodily functions. It is these functions that build the foundation to support their overall health. It is akin to a foundation of a house. If it is strong, then the house is stable and it can withstand storms, earthquakes and other disasters. If the foundation is broken or deteriorated, then the house becomes rickety and starts to crumble.
In the same manner, you have to have a solid foundation of health to maintain good health. If your foundation is broken or deteriorated or depleted, you my have health issues. You then need to rebuild your foundation with the foundational basics to start your journey to better health.
The Seven Foundations are:
1: Eating well- Eat as close to fresh from the earth as possible.
2: Eliminating well- Regular bowel movements are important. They eliminate toxins.
3: Sleeping well- 8 hours of sleep is essential. It is when your body heals.
4: Staying hydrated- Good hydration with water is important for cell metabolism and detoxification.
5: Daily exercise and movement- You have to move. It keeps systems and oxygen flowing. Only has to be 20-30 minutes of walking.
6: Get outside for sunshine- Sunshine improves all aspects of physical and mental health and increases Vitamin D levels.
7: Managing stress- Meditation, exercise, yoga all help to deal with stress. Very important for balancing mind, body, and spirit. Seek therapy if needed.
