May 1 - Chicken sandwiches (fried & grilled), french fries, CFA sauce & ranch dressing

Serving time:  5-6pm in the FLC kitchen

The Helping Hands Ministry was inspired by Doris Thompson and her vision to reach out to our shut-in and homebound members. This ministry delivers gifts to our shut-in members and some non-members once a month, on the 4th Thursday (except during the holidays). Even though a gift is delivered, the true gift is the visit and time spent with the member who is unable to attend church.

If you would like to participate, come to the Family Life Center at 10:00 AM on the designated dates to help assemble gifts and make deliveries.

NON-STOP!

Located at FBC Tuscaloosa, on the steps of the chapel facing the courthouse.  Each volunteer will read aloud for 15 minutes and then pass the reading, like a baton, to the next person. Approximately 300 volunteers are needed to complete the reading of the entire Bible.

Please sign up for only ONE 15 minute time slot.

Sunday, April 28^th is the deadline for signing if you are interested in attending “For Such a Time as This” to be held at the Celebrators Leconte Center, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee in October 14-17, 2024. We will need to get registrations in and make reservations for lodging so a deadline will be set for sign-up! Of course, we will address any situations that come up after the deadline, but for now we need to move forward to secure the best lodging and to ensure we get into the conference. Please consider attending!
