The USET Office of Tribal Public Health (OTPH) Opioid Task Force (OTF) will convene during this year’s USET Best Practices Conference to continue advancing our shared efforts to address substance use disorder and strengthen community response strategies.
The USET OTF serves as a cross-sector collaborative, bringing together partners from health, education, justice, and social services, as well as federal and non-federal organizations, along with USET member Tribal Nations and stakeholders. Together, we work to develop and promote effective, culturally grounded approaches and guidelines to address the opioid crisis.
This session will feature Ali Burrell from the Washington/Baltimore HIDTA (High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area), who will provide an overview of ODMAP (Overdose Detection Mapping Application Program) and discuss how real-time overdose data can support coordinated, life-saving interventions across Tribal communities.
All USET member Tribal Nation representatives and interested partners are encouraged to attend and participate in this important discussion. A complimentary lunch will be provided.
Meeting Details Date: June 17, 2026 Time: 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM Central Location: USET Best Practices Conference Registration is required, and space is limited
