Parent of a kid who signed up for our new Dear Reader program: "My kid was so excited to see this creative writing program come up at her school's morning news. She signed up right away!" February 16
A patron was trying to book study rooms for interviews but they were all booked during her requested time slot. She said that was ok, she'd just take the interviews from the phone booth because "that phone booth is amazing!" February 20
A patron who is a mature student, graduating on March 15th (hurray!), said that the Camas Library is her "sanctuary." She said, "It saved me when my children were young, and now I would not have been able to complete my degree without your help." March 2
An elderly patron called to request the second book in the Three Dark Crowns series. She said, "It was a staff recommended read, and I never read fantasy or YA, but I stayed up until 1 am reading it! I can't wait to start the second book! You all do such a great job." March 2
A comment on Facebook regarding the program Ukraine Unbroken: "This was an eye-opening presentation. Thank you so much for hosting." March 4
Someone visiting Camas said that she has been to many libraries on the West Coast and "This Library is the best! I'm sad I'm leaving tomorrow." March 5
Tucked in the comments of a purchase request submission was a note that read, "Thanks for the option of requesting books! I love our library." March 7
A student from Agape Christian Academy and her mom came to the desk to update her account. Mom said Maria's outreach visit was a big reason why they came in to get books on a school topic and get her daughter a new library card. March 8

From Elliot Stapleton, Outreach Librarian: "When I was asking businesses in downtown to sponsor the Summer Reading Program (SRP) this summer, the manager at Nuestra Mesa said 'I would LOVE to sponsor the Summer Reading Program! My family is in love with the Library and we go there all the time.'" March 20
From Maria Martin, Library Associate: "The Annual Report included a picture of a preschooler that comes to a lot of my programs. I sent it to his mom and this was her response: 'Thank you so much for letting me know! We found it, Hunter is excited to see himself and remembers that day, so neat! We appreciate you all!'" March 21
One of the Trustees reported that her 7-year-old has asked several times when her next Potions class will be. March 21
A patron checked out the Cubetto STEM kit and shared that her son is so excited because he had played with one at a STEM fair. He asked his parents if they could buy one, but when she looked it up it was way out of their budget. She shared that she was so grateful to be able to check one out at the Library. March 22
A patron stopped at the Service Desk to say "this is the best library." She went on to say that we have so many great recommendations for her each time she comes in, and such fantastic spots to sit and read. March 26
A patron, Wendy, called to say "Thank you for all you do. This library is incredible." March 29
