From my desk

Nope, no April Fools' joke from me. I admit to being a big fan of them, so I won't subject you to it. If you enjoy them, I'm sure there will be plenty to see online. LOL!

Not much new on the writing front. I've been busy catching up on other stuff around the house. Filing, for one thing. We are in the habit of tossing the papers into my in-bin. Well, it's overflowing since the last time I tackled it was early January for taxes. 

We have been busy buying trees and bushes for around the yard in addition to ordering new windows for our 18 year old home. They should be in late April-early May. Not looking forward to the chaos (hubby has to take down outside awnings & shutters as well as all inside curtains & blinds). But I know in the end it will be well worth it.

I admit to love the sales that seem to be going on everywhere. I splurged and got myself some Bose headphones so I can listen to music without driving hubby nuts (our tastes vary a lot). We also have been buying stuff for car shows - folding chairs, table, tote bags, personalized shirts and jackets. What fun!

If all goes well, I hope to get back to writing by mid-April. Keep your fingers crossed! It will be a short read, another cozy mystery added to an existing series.
